In
August 1999 and August 2004 the quiet Plains of Abraham were shattered as Crown
Forces successfully defended Canada from American invaders under generals Arnold
and Montgomery.
The King's Orange Rangers are located at the extreme left of this British advance line of provincials, the regulars being safely located in the rear until the field guns have been captured.
Typical of major events, re-enactors from across North America were on hand for the event, and an estimated 60 000 spectators surrounded the battlefield.
